Pattern found

You were profitable. Your risk still leaked.

After losses, your next positions got bigger. That one habit created most of the drawdown.

⚠ The review waits for more data before calling it a rule.

The issue was not the strategy. It was the reaction after a loss.

🧪 This week's rule

After a loss, take the next valid setup at normal size. No revenge sizing.

Built from the same problem

I wanted a journal that removed work, not one that gave traders more admin.

My name is Daniel. I am based in Singapore, trading forex and building the kind of journal I always wanted, one that keeps reflection close to the trades without making it a project in itself.

I built MyFXJournal because the other journaling tools I found either felt too expensive, too cluttered, or too demanding before the real review even started. I wanted something that made journaling realistic to keep up with.

The direction is simple: let the product absorb more of the cleanup, organization, and reflection prompts around trading, so the trader can focus more on execution and less on maintenance.

If MyFXJournal is doing its job well, you should spend less time maintaining a journal and more time trading with a clearer process.
