Entries and exits on a chart timeline so you can relate fills to the move that was unfolding—planned for general access after preview.
Faster post-session recall
Skip mentally rebuilding the candle sequence from a flat list of prices and times once replay ships broadly.
Same data as the journal
Replay is planned to use the trades already in your account, whether they came from import, manual entry, or optional MT5 sync.
How it works
How it will work when replay opens up.
01
Get trades into the journal
Import MT5 or Tradovate files, add manual trades, or use read-only MT5 sync when setup capacity is available.
02
Open replay on a trade (after launch)
From your trade list or detail view, jump into the replay chart for that position once the feature leaves admin-only preview.
03
Review with the chart in view
Once replay is available for your account, use it to inspect the path from entry to exit and carry the takeaway into weekly review.
FAQ
The quick answers.
Can I use trade replay today?
Not yet for normal accounts. The chart replay is in admin-gated preview while we finish it. We will open it more broadly when the rollout is ready—this page describes what is coming.
Is trade replay the same as live charting software?
No. It is for journaling and review: reconstructing your trade on price for context, not for placing new trades or live analysis.
Will replay need MT5 sync?
No. When it launches for your account, any trades already in your journal—imports or manual entries—can feed replay the same way other review features do.
Does this give trade signals?
No. MyFXJournal is for review and process clarity, not recommendations or signals.
